Spinach Recall

The Fresh Express company website is here. As of 7:27 am Thursday Nov. 8th 2012 I saw no mention of the recall in their news links. Nor in any obvious place.
They did a voluntary recall on their 9oz bags due to a salmonella positive result in
some of their testing on the 7th.

recall on nuts and nut products

New salmonella risk affecting near 70 varieties of peanuts

Be extra careful if you bought your peanut food at a Trader Joe's.

"In addition to the various peanut products and nut butters, ice creams, cookies, brownies, energy bars and even packaged lunches have been recalled in connection with the Sunland recalls. These products contained Sunland nut products processed at the New Mexico plant."

mini wheats recall news

Might want to avoid eating a certain brand's breakfast cereal for a few months.  Kellogg's has just announced a recall on their famed mini-wheats.  Apparently metal shavings is the new ingredient.  "Kellogg Company has initiated a voluntary recall of certain Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats cereal packages due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh from a faulty manufacturing part."
I literally ate 2 bowls of it last night as a dinner.  Tasted fine to me but I did wake up with a headache and I was coughing and sneezing.  This is probably unrelated but...you never know.
